Well to start off the week we had a friendly little visitor. He was hurt and not very shy, but he really like the crumbs from the smores we made around the fire the night before. Luckily he didn't fall in the pool.
Jessica took this lovely action photo of me installing the pool cover. Since we never got the brass anchor's installed this spring, me and my Dad had to stretch out the pool cover and measure the location of each anchor. Then I got the fun task of drilling all 54 of the anchor holes. But we managed to get the cover fully installed in about 3 hours. It was just in time the leaves in our cul-de-sac are starting to change color and begin to litter our yard.
I am a third generation home builder in the Kansas City area. I grew up working for my Fathers construction company and I graduated w/ an Architecture degree from Kansas State University in 2005. I hope to eventually combine my two passions into a Design Build Company. I am currently working for myself at Studio Build doing projects in the Kansas City area. I'm currently looking for design/build work in the area and am tackling several local projects. Please contact me if you would like to discuss a project.
The following links are ones that I found throughout my remodel process. I purchased things from many of the sites, I'm not affiliated with any of them though I could be if for some reason they want to send me some free stuff. Hopefully these help some of you in your own adventures.
