I recieved my cork flooring yesterday. I ended up ordering it from www.blackriverfloors.com on tuesday I wasn't expecting the three day delivery but I'm not complaining. I think the cork should go down pretty quickly, but then I'm going to put two coats of sealer on top. I can't decide if I need to get the floor pad to cut down on noise or not. The lacquer is going on, and it looks really good. I'll post some pics of the finished product after I get the paper off of the windows to get some more light inside. I'm having trouble finding the appropiate lighting. I thought I had them all picked, but I'm second guessing myself.
This blog was started to document our remodel of a Mid Century Modern home in Kansas City built by Don Drummond. You will also find information on my furniture design/build and other side projects.
I am a third generation home builder in the Kansas City area. I grew up working for my Fathers construction company and I graduated w/ an Architecture degree from Kansas State University in 2005. I hope to eventually combine my two passions into a Design Build Company. I am currently working for myself at Studio Build doing projects in the Kansas City area. I'm currently looking for design/build work in the area and am tackling several local projects. Please contact me if you would like to discuss a project.

The following links are ones that I found throughout my remodel process. I purchased things from many of the sites, I'm not affiliated with any of them though I could be if for some reason they want to send me some free stuff. Hopefully these help some of you in your own adventures.
