Well I finally made a decision on cabinets. I looked into Kraftmaid's Venicia line but in the end they were too expensive and I couldn't customize as much as I wanted to. I am going w/ a custom cabinet shop. The cabinets will be a full overlay/european box style made in walnut.
The brown and blue panels are sliders and they will be painted out once I finalize my color scheme. I went w/ formica countertops to save some money - the island bar countertop will not be formica, I'm still debating on what material to use. I've decided to use tile in this kitchen/dining floor for durability, so I'm on the lookout for a nice inexpensive Modern tile. I'm looking for the drawer pulls for the kitchen so far IKEA has the only options that are reasonably priced, please send me an email if you have any suggestions on any of these topics.
